A Place of Worship

A place where all the works of man
Be counted as nothing in the view;
A place where only Thy glory shines,
Brightening hope in Thy children too;

A place that our spirits be lifted up
To be centered upon Thee on high;
A place, LORD, where You manifest
Your Holy Spirit, ever nigh;

A place of calm; a place of rest;
A place, our souls can feast;
A place to fellowship with the saints;
Where blessings fall on greatest and least;

A place of quiet; a place of praise;
A place of unabashed prayer;
A place to worship THY HOLY NAME;
LORD, lead us to worship Thee there.

By the mercies of God,
