Primitive Baptists
Daily Scripture
6. We are of God: he that knowest God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knowest God.
8. He that loveth not knowest not God; for God is love.
9. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his son to be propitiation for our sins.

LORD, by Thine almighty power,
Give us light of Thee to shine.
Set our hearts burning to confess,
All honor, all glory is Thine!

Bless us to make joyful noise unto Thee.
Great GOD Who made us, we are Thine;
Fill us with thanks and praise unto Thee,
Thou, good and merciful all the time!

Please quicken our hearts by Thy holiness;
Let truth be comprehended in our minds;
Purge imaginations by Thy beauty.
Give vision of Thy Love true and kind.

Bless us to be centered upon Thee;
Help us to conform to Thy will O LORD,
All to Thy glory, all, to Thy praise!
These blessings to our spirits, afford.

By the mercies of God
