Thank YOU LORD

Thank YOU, FATHER, for heat of summer.
Thank YOU for the cooling shade.
Thank YOU for the rains YOU send
Down to mountain, hill, and glade.

Thank YOU for our food, for harvest.
Thank YOU for sustenance here.
Thank YOU for strength to move about.
Thank YOU for giving us cheer.

Thank YOU for families and neighbors;
Thank YOU for friends in life we've known.
Thank YOU for Thy Kingdom here;
And, for mercies Thou hast shown.

Thank YOU for Thy LOVE eternal.
Thank YOU, LORD Who dwells within
The very hearts of Thy people.
Thank YOU for forgiveness of sin.

Thank YOU Who delivers from pitfalls!
Thank YOU for Thy life-giving WORD.
Thank YOU for Thy faithful servants.
Thank YOU for the gospel heard.

Thank YOU for rest when we're weary.
Thank YOU for healing from pain.
Thank YOU, Comforter of the helpless;
Thank YOU, Savior, for us slain!
